Welcome to Blue HQ Media’s “Recruiting Trail” series where we will be bringing you the latest on the top prospects for your team. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we take a look at today’s prospect, Ayo Dosunmu.

Dosunmu is currently a four-star point guard from Morgan Park, Illinois. While he is currently garnering interest from over 15 different programs nationally, his reason for appearing here is Butler.

The Bulldogs have been heavily involved in the battle for Dosunmu’s commitment, going as far as hosting him on a visit. Currently Butler appears to be playing catch-up to Illinois as the Illini seem to be the pick of many pundits nationwide.

Dosunmu is currently slated as the nation’s third best shooting guard according to 247Sports despite the recruit insisting he is a true point guard.

In an interview with 247Sports Dosunmu had this to say, “I just want to go to a school where the coach can put the ball in my hands right away, I want to be able to play right away as a freshman,” he said. “I want to be able to just show my skills and the coach to have confidence in me. But I also want to win.”

Only time will tell if the Bulldogs can lure Dosunmu to the circle city.
