On a day that was not kind to Indiana basketball programs, Butler faltered the opportunity to claim sole possession of first place in the Big East. Georgetown ended Butler’s 14-game home winning streak Saturday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Hoyas’ 85-81 win was an absolute barn burner, featuring 19 lead changes and 10 ties. Butler is now 18-4 on the season and 7-3 in conference play. Butler will look to rebound when Creighton comes to Indianapolis Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in a battle of Top 25 adversaries.
