Fulmer expected to be named Vols Athletic Director

Unconfirmed Reports Indicate One Vols Football Player Failed Drug Test

Currie Out, Fulmer In

Phillip Fulmer is expected to be announced as the new athletic director at today’s press conference.

Yes, this was reported by Jimmy Hyams, who inadvertently reported Jeff Brohm was a done deal as Butch Jones’s replacement. Granted this report should be taken with a grain of salt, his track record suggests it’s unlikely he would put another momentous report out prematurely had he not been given confirmation.

It’s unknown whether or not Fulmer will take over on a full-time or interim basis. More will be known following the press conference.
