Welcome to Blue HQ Media’s “Recruiting Trail” series where we will be bringing you the latest on the top prospects for your team. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we take a look at today’s prospect, Musa Jallow.

Jallow is a 6’ 5” small forward from Bloomington, Indiana and is currently undeclared. He has received interest and been actively recruited by Butler, Purdue, IUPUI, and the supposed favorite– Indiana. Currently a junior at Bloomington North, he has steadily climbed the rankings, as he is the 44th-best small forward in the 2018 class according to ESPN. It seems Jallow has a lot of untapped potential and room left to grow.

Some basketball pundits may have wondered if the coaching change at Indiana would affect his interest, but to this point, it seems to be unaffected. He just recently visited the campus again to meet with the new coaching staff for the first time, an experience he recapped in an interview with Inside the Hall.

“It was good. It was kind of weird seeing all of the new coaches,” Jallow told Inside the Hall on Saturday afternoon at the NY2LA Sports Lone Star Invitational. “I knew how to get down to the gym (in Cook Hall) and they didn’t even know how to do it. I had to lead the way. They’re all good people. I really enjoyed being there. When we first got there he (Archie Miller) introduced all of the coaches, told us their backgrounds and then we watched some film on Dayton and how he wanted to play and showed how I would fit in his system,” Jallow said. “And then I was able to watch one of the guard workouts.”

While there is still a lot of time left before the dust is settled, Jallow is definitely a name to watch.
