Tom Ratliff

Assistant Media Director

My name is Tom, and I have been an avid hockey and Colts fan for most of my life. The lack of an NHL team here means I try to watch hockey any way I can, including a lot of nights as a youngster inside old Market Square Arena watching the Indianapolis Ice. I am excited to bring you my perspective on a multitude of hockey teams. Additionally I enjoy shooting sports, and rooting for America in the Summer and Winter Olympics.

Brian Bertke

Ohio/Pennsylvania State Manager

I’m Brian Bertke and I am a general sports fan. I follow football and baseball the most but I can find nearly all sports interesting. The teams you will likely see me cheering on will be the Ohio State University Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Reds and Bowling Green State University Falcons. While I did start my college studies at BGSU, I graduated from Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio in 2012 with bachelor’s degrees in sports management and business administration and graduated with a master’s in business administration three years after that. My dream is to have a form of ownership of a professional sports franchise, but writing about sports can be just as interesting.

My name is Christian Wilkinson and I am from McMinnville, Tennessee. I’m a sophomore at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and am undecided on a major. I love Tennessee sports, (Titans, Vols, Preds) & I also have been a Cleveland Cavaliers fan since I was old enough to watch.

Evan Miller

Indiana State Manager

My name is Evan and I am the beat writer for the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets. I started on Blue HQ Media in March of 2017 writing for the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets. I am an avid Indy Fuel fan. I love all Indiana sports aside from the Fuel, including the Pacers and the Colts. I started going to hockey games when I was one week old when my family had season tickets to the Fort Wayne Komets. We moved to the Indianapolis area about 11 years ago and I was ecstatic when it was announced that the Hallett family brought a professional hockey team back to Indy. I was even happier when I found out that would be competing in the ECHL, the same league as my (former) favorite team, the Komets. You can keep up with all Blue Jackets news and updates and talk hockey on my Twitter @evanbluehq.
