Pagano hints at Luck’s return

Pagano talks with media members on Sept. 25, 2017.

The Indianapolis Colts delivered some much-anticipated news Monday afternoon when head coach Chuck Pagano took to the podium to speak with members of the media.

Pagano told media members that Luck might indeed begin practicing with the team this week. Pagano also said he would know more Thursday. The statement lines up with the rumored return date of October 16 when Indianapolis travels to Nashville to face AFC South division rival Tennessee.

Luck has not been seen publicly throwing since January when Indianapolis defeated Jacksonville in come-from-behind fashion.

Indianapolis currently sits a 1-2 with matchups against the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers before their Monday night game in Nashville.

When asked if Luck practiced this week if he would possibly play against Seattle, Pagano responded, “Absolutely not.”

“You guys want him back at practice and now you’re *expletive* about who he’s going to practice with,” chuckled Pagano when asked how Indianapolis would integrate Luck while still preparing Brissett to start.

It is worth noting Pagano seemed very lighthearted and happy during the presser. Hopefully, this can be the turning point of 2017 for Indianapolis.
