The NFL Fan Voting for the Pro Bowl has ended and Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz have been named to their first Pro Bowl.

Wentz (829,174 votes) finished fourth overall after leading the voting for the season up until the deadline. Although Wentz finished fourth overall in fan voting, he finished first in NFC voting. After a MVP-caliber season, throwing for 3,296 yards, an NFL-leading 33 touchdowns– an Eagles all-time record and only seven interceptions, Wentz’s pro bowl designation is well warranted. However, Wentz is guaranteed to miss the game due to a season-ending ACL injury.

Ertz has enjoyed a breakout season so far, totaling 663 yards receiving, good for fourth among tight ends, and seven touchdowns, tied for second amongst tight ends; numbers that would no doubt be higher if he hadn’t missed two games due to injury. With Wentz missing the game due to injury, Eagles fans hope Ertz will only miss the Pro Bowl game due to an even bigger game the week after the Pro Bowl.

Full Pro Bowl rosters will be announced on Tuesday, December 19th.
