Intro

This is perhaps the most important part of this entire orientation. We can tolerate blogging mistakes and errors, as they can happen to anyone. We won’t tolerate it when a writer breaks our Code of Integrity.

We are very protective of the atmosphere in our virtual office. Upon being granted access to the Blue HQ Media site, you are agreeing to follow the Blue HQ Media Code of Integrity. Should you break any of these guidelines, your site access will be suspended and may ultimately be revoked. We understand that mistakes may happen and we will evaluate each case individually.

What you post to the site reflects on Blue HQ Media. Please review our Code of Integrity carefully and abide by it. Should you ever need/want to refer to it again, the Code of Integrity is available here.

For the most part, writers make us swell with pride. Every once in a while, however, there will be a situation that jeopardizes the winning culture that all of us here in the Blue HQ Media family are working hard to build. Generally, we prefer to utilize a three-strikes policy — where we will give a writer at least one warning before they are removed from their duties. At the same time, we must reserve the right to remove any writer at any time, per agreement.

Two things are vital to us right now: teamwork and branding. Any unnecessary negativity can disrupt our efforts on either or both fronts. In our opinion, no one person is bigger than the whole. Blue HQ Media is a team contributors working together towards a common goal in harmony. Behavior that disrupts our collective direction is grounds for removal.

Code Of Integrity

  1. Plagiarism or content theft of any kind is a violation and will immediately terminate your agreement with Blue HQ Media.
  2. Using images on sites or on social media that are not allowed for use by Blue HQ Media. All images used must adhere to our image policies at all times. Refer to the image policy or ask an editor if you need more clarity.
  3. Attacking commenters/readers in posts, comment sections, or on social media channels. Personal attacks or insults against readers (calling someone an idiot, or worse) will not be tolerated.
